We are seeking a strategic and analytical Brand Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be key in executing marketing & brand strategy, growing the brand and driving momentum in the beverage space. 

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

As the Associate Brand Manager, you will play a critical role in driving momentum on the business.  The primary objective is to execute strategic growth initiatives and drive the day-to-day business forward. This role demands a collaborative team member who can work cross functionally, translate data into actionable recommendations, drive strategic projects forward and contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Own business reporting for brand and category, keeping pulse on the business, bringing trends, insights and actions forward through data analysis  

• Play a key role in managing the Integrated Agency Team, executing the brand’s strategies across creative, shopper marketing, organic social and influencer.  

• Drive ecommerce strategy and best in class digital presence, including LLM strategy and product content 

• Contribute to commercialization of innovation through the stage-gate process, drive base business optimization projects and support post-launch performance tracking 

• Day to day brand budget management, including forecasting, annual planning, period close in partnership with Finance 

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business priorities, including Sales, Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Supply Chain, R&D and Consumer Insights 

• Opportunity to support or lead creative projects across packaging design, assortment strategy, and campaign development that brings brand strategy to life with consumers 

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Understanding of the F&B CPG industry, with experience working on portfolios for well-known brands 

• Experience working with syndicated data (Circana/IRI, Nielsen, etc.) 

• Financial acumen and understanding of P&L  

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills 

• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results in an agile, fast-paced environment 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities  

• Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter  

• Experience leveraging AI tools for productivity   

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) 

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in Marketing or Business Management 

• Must be located in Chicago, IL or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL for the duration of employment   

• Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations as required. The Tropicana team is typically onsite every Tuesday-Thursday.  

• Legally authorized to work in the country to which you are applying without requiring sponsorship or additional work permits now or in the future 

• Experience in traditional marketing functions, with exposure to and understanding of cross-functional areas of expertise (supply chain, pricing, etc.)

Salary Range:

$87,000 - $109,000
