Consultant- AI Engineer- Infosys Consulting
Infosys Consulting's Enterprise AI Practice is seeking a Consultant to build the next generation AI Solutions for clients.
Position Overview:
As a Consultant who can envision & design business solutions with AI. You will Design and implement AI agents and agentic workflows. You will be responsible for a program track at client
Responsibilities and skills needed:
- LLM solutions : Design, build and scale AI products using Claude, OpenAI and similar models.
- Agentic workflows: Create multi-step agents using LangChain, Google ADK and related frameworks
- Retrieval & knowledge: Develop RAG, semantic search, knowledge graphs and graph-based retrieva
- Focused AI : Apply specific prompt engineering approaches to create relevant responses
- AI engineering: Build data pipelines, API integrations, microservices and Python AI/ML solutions.
- AI Provenance: Design & build eval methods to ensure integrity of outcomes
Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
- Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to client executives and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Act as a person running the project activities, work with stakeholders through IT transformation processes.
Team Collaboration and Development:
- Collaborate with project teams, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration, and timely delivery of milestones.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years in in backend or AI application development.
- Proven experience integrating AI agents into enterprise systems.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with and support project teams.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
