Our client is a boutique business management firm looking to add a Senior Accountant to its team due to year-over-year growth. This is a unique opportunity for someone coming out of public accounting who wants to broaden their experience and build a more holistic accounting and finance career while working directly with high-profile clients, including musicians and professional athletes.
Key Responsibilities
Onboard new clients and manage ongoing client relationships.
Handle client inquiries, financial emergencies, and day-to-day accounting and finance needs.
Lead a broad range of accounting and finance projects, including closing the books accurately and efficiently, cleaning up complex or problem accounts, and preparing review-ready workpapers.
Develop and implement processes to improve client service and operational efficiency, including adopting new technologies and training team members on their use.
Serve as a trusted resource to clients and gain exposure to a wide range of accounting, finance, and business management matters.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
46 years of accounting and finance experience in public accounting and/or private industry.
Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience with a regional or larger CPA firm.
Strong technical accounting foundation, including account reconciliations and clean-up, month-end close, and preparation of review-ready workpapers with minimal oversight.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to clients and colleagues.
Must reside in the Los Angeles area and be available for occasional local travel.
