Role Summary:


As the Associate Customer Development Manager on the Pureplay team , you will be a key influencer to the customer to grow sales, increase the share of market, improve services, and identify supply chain efficiencies. This position focuses on achieving sales goals through relationship management. You will help manage the relationship between Colgate and our Pureplay customers such as Amazon, communicating our corporate and brand strategies, understanding customer objectives and strategies, and ensuring maximum profitability and mutual success. You'll work with your team to develop and present business plans and understand and refine plan implications and customer input to build growth through increased market share and financial return.


Pure Play is one of the fastest growing channels and Amazon is a key strategic growth enabler. eCommerce is a highly dynamic space enabling a fast-paced learning environment and ability to test & learn. With Pure Play being such a multifaceted channel, the team works closely with all cross functional partners including significant exposure to Retail Marketing, Digital Commerce and Supply Chain

Responsibilities:


+ Assist in implementing business strategies and supporting execution for our Pureplay Team product lines to meet performance targets.

+ Support the delivery of project management tasks, contributing to an environment where team members are encouraged to develop their skills.

+ Assist in analyzing Profit & Loss (P&L) data to support performance optimization and financial goal achievement.

+ Influence cross-functional partners to ensure effective execution of search, content & shopper marketing activities based on strong customer understanding

+ Work with Colgate’s supply chain team to ensure our products are always in stock and available online

+ Support content implementation & partner with Omni Marketing team to identify content optimization opportunities.

+ Apply an analytical approach to help assess market trends, identify opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.

+ Support the engagement with Amazon by assisting in building partnerships and understanding the customer needs.

+ Contribute to fostering an inclusive and innovative team environment that encourages collaboration and continuous learning.


Required Qualifications:


+ Bachelor's Degree

+ 3+ years of experience in sales, category management role(s) or similar roles

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs)


Preferred Qualifications:


+ Experience working in consumer product goods

+ Knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central (and/or prior Amazon experience)

+ Experience working with syndicated service account, loyalty data (Nielsen, IRI)

+ Proactive, takes initiatives to anticipate and resolve issues

+ Comfortable with managing in a fast paced and ambiguous environment

+ Analytical skills, able to understand the business and develop reporting to support decision making

+ Digitally savvy and curious, understands the dynamics of eCommerce


Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $86,000.00 - $121,000.00 USD


Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.


Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
