Associate Cell Biologist

We are searching for a self-motivated and energetic Associate Cell Biologist with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to assist in our Cell Production Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: preparing human and animal primary cell cultures; purifying, characterizing, and cryopreserving cells; and managing/ organizing cell inventories. Candidates should be familiar with general lab equipment and techniques such as a microscope, a centrifuge, and immunocytochemistry. Preferred candidates will have proficient knowledge of human and animal anatomy. Laboratory logistical skills such as record keeping, ordering supplies and ensuring general laboratory safety/ cleanliness are a must.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in life science with two-years of full time academic or industry specific experience. Candidates must be willing to accept a work schedule that varies depending on the company's needs. Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of self-motivation are required.
