As we expand, we are building a sophisticated in-house legal function that operates at the intersection of litigation, compliance, and business strategy.About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work directly with General Counsel in a remote role combining commercial litigation and in-house advisory work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable both managing litigation matters and advising business teams on legal risk, contracts, and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support commercial litigation matters, including coordination with outside counsel.Handle pre-litigation disputes, demand responses, and settlement strategy.Draft and review contracts, including vendor agreements, settlement agreements, and commercial contracts.Advise internal teams (Marketing, Operations, HR, Sales) on legal risk and compliance.Assist with employment-related matters, disputes, and internal investigations.Review marketing materials, policies, and communications for regulatory compliance.Conduct legal research and prepare practical, business-oriented guidance.Participate in building scalable legal processes and infrastructure.QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school; active Florida Bar membership required.3–7 years of experience, with meaningful exposure to:Commercial litigationContract disputesEmployment-related mattersMarketing compliance reviewStrong writing, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to operate both independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Business-minded approach with strong judgment and problem-solving ability.PreferredPrior in-house or business-facing experience.Experience in financial services, debt restructuring, or highly regulated industries.New York bar admission in addition to Florida licensureCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary: $120,000 – $150,000Performance-based bonusHealth, dental, vision, and supplemental insurancePaid time off and professional development opportunitiesApplication RequirementsPlease submit: Please submit all the following as a single combined document.ResumeCover letter (max 1 page) addressing:Your litigation experienceAny in-house or business-facing experienceInterest in a remote litigation/general counsel roleWriting sample (5–10 pages; redacted if necessary)Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
