Introduction

As the Associate Creative Director for the US Hispanic Market, you'll lead the localization of creative work from English into Spanish. You'll be responsible for writing copy as well as overseeing all work produced by our freelance writing network, in partnership with internal creative teams. You'll help guide the launch of products and services for US Hispanic audiences, ensuring the company speaks with one consistent brand voice while accounting for regional variation.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in copywriting within an advertising agency or brand-side creative team.
  • Proven conceptual thinking and copywriting skills, capable of generating great ideas and executing them flawlessly.
  • Exceptional bilingual and bicultural proficiency, with strong fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • Deep understanding of the US Hispanic demographic, including linguistic differences across countries of origin (Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, etc.) and varying acculturation levels.
  • Prior work experience in the tech industry or with technology products.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong copy-driven work.
  • Strong understanding of current technology products, with the ability to translate technical features into clear, compelling consumer-facing messaging.
  • Skilled in, or open to learning, CAT tools and Machine Translation (MT), as well as localization workflows and MT post-editing (MTPE).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide creative direction to a team of writers and editors, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages bold, culturally relevant ideas.
  • Craft clear, compelling copy across platforms and USH audiences, maintaining a consistent style and tone of voice across all deliverables.
  • Act as a key reference point for US Hispanic culture within the creative department, ensuring work reflects a deep understanding of the diverse segments within this market.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Leads, Brand, and Strategy teams to shape high-quality creative work.
  • Maintain creative excellence in all copy, ensuring alignment with established brand standards across executions.
