ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, The following are indicative of the essential functions required to perform this job successfully. Other duties may be assigned by management. Comply with Chapter Five (5) pp. 63-537 of the Tennessee Code Annotated Rules and Regulations of the Practice of Dentistry in the State of Tennessee. Any person who performs any of the following acts shall be deemed to be practicing dentistry:
teeth or jaws or associated structures;
Establish regular procedures for the adequate care of emergency patients. Replace absent dentists or provide needed coverage at all site locations as needed. Supervise all dental personnel (ie, registered dental assistants) in his or her immediate area. Periodically check all dental equipment for maintenance and repair, requisition the necessary service(s)/repair(s) and report all major problems to the Dental Director immediately. Responsible for the maintenance of patient confidentiality and adherence to Patient Rights and Responsibilities, as issued in the New Hire Orientation Adheres to all MWCHC policies and procedures. Arrives at work on time and complies with MWCHC attendance and tardiness policies Possesses the ability to get along with co-workers, patients and visitors. Performs all other duties as assigned by management. |
