Job Title: Associate Dentist (Multiple Positions)

Job Duties:
Performing exams and evaluating X-rays to determine a patient’s health; developing treatment plans to deal with any dental health issues; preparing patients for treatment (e.g. by applying oral sedation or anesthesia); performing dental cleanings and removing tooth plaque; identifying tooth decay filling cavities, performing root canals, and applying crowns; administering and/or prescribing medications to decrease pain and improve patient health; providing cosmetic services like teeth whitening, bonding and veneers to enhance the appearance of teeth; interacting with patients and instructing them on proper oral care; measuring and fitting dental appliances; examining patients’ medical records and maintaining updated accurate records. Rare local travel to other worksites within the same MSA may be required.
Requirements:
The position of Associate Dentist requires a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry or Doctor of Dental Surgery and a valid dentist license in the state of Virginia.
