Associate Director - Customer Interaction Suite

About the role

• We are seeking a highly driven Associate Director to accelerate growth across the United States by acquiring net-new enterprise customers for our portfolio of AI-powered Customer Experience, Contact Center, Customer Engagement, and Digital Transformation solutions.

This is a high-impact hunter role focused on identifying, developing, and closing new logo opportunities with enterprise and upper mid-market organizations. The successful candidate will lead executive-level conversations around AI-driven customer experience transformation, helping organizations modernize customer service, automate interactions, improve employee productivity, and deliver seamless omnichannel engagement. As businesses increasingly invest in Generative AI, Conversational AI, intelligent automation, and next-generation customer engagement technologies, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers unlock measurable business value through innovation.

What you'll be responsible for

• Drive net-new logo acquisition for the America region.

• Build, manage, and close a healthy pipeline of enterprise opportunities.

• Engage C-suite and senior business leaders responsible for Customer Experience, Contact Centers, Digital Transformation, Customer Service, Operations, and AI initiatives.

• Position AI as a strategic enabler of customer experience excellence.

• Help organizations leverage AI to improve customer satisfaction, reduce operational costs, increase employee productivity, and drive customer loyalty.

• Develop executive-level business cases demonstrating ROI from AI and CX transformation initiatives.

• Collaborate with solution consultants, product specialists, alliance partners, and executive leadership teams to win complex opportunities.

• Consistently exceed annual revenue and pipeline generation targets.

Ideal background

• 10+ years of successful enterprise SaaS sales experience.
• Proven success in a hunter role with significant new logo acquisition responsibility.
• Experience selling AI, Customer Experience (CX), Contact Center (CCaaS), Customer Engagement, or Digital Transformation solutions.
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and winning competitive enterprise deals.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage CXOs, Heads of CX, Customer Service Leaders, and Transformation Executives.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

• Proven record of coupling business acumen with technology knowledge, to connect customer business challenges to their technology decisions.
• Able to translate business information from customer and Provide insights to Solutions, SME, and product to enable development of proposal.
• Excellent Communicator and Collaborator:ââ¬Â¯Strong relationship building, negotiation, organizational, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.àAbility to influence without authority.
• Strong understanding of latest trends in enterprise networking space, including the competitive landscape Tata Communications operates within.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and execute the growth strategy and the go to market strategy for the respective product portfolio in the region.
• Identify solution partners and establish regional alliances to develop market and segments.
• Identify high-potential customers and building long-term alliances.
• Understand and analyse client requirements, determine the best solution fit and create a compelling proposition.
• Lead the technical conversations with the clients working alongside the technical architect team.
• Deliver Revenue Targets and Pipeline Growth
• Lead client negotiations, manage deal progression and deal closure by ensuring cross functional teams (BD Teams, Bid Management, Solutions, Legal, Commercial, etc) are well aligned in stitching a deal together for the customer.
• Proactively identify the problem area internally with product and solutions team, setting up periodic bid calls between, sales, legal, commercial, solution and product to propose the desired solution to customer, prioritize on key opportunities to gain faster closures.

Base Salary Range: $138,922 - $182,635. The salary may be adjusted within this range based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and the specific needs of the position
