Hiring Salary: $40,000-$42,500 ($80,000-$85,000 annualized at 0.5 FTE).
This position is assigned at 0.5 FTE.
The MLS Program manages both the Master of Legal Studies (MLS) degree and the Certificate of Legal Studies (CLS) at UC Law SF. The MLS degree is designed for individuals who do not seek to practice law, but who want to equip themselves with a sophisticated understanding of legal reasoning and doctrine. The CLS is an intensive introduction to the law and legal thinking.
THE ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general direction of and reporting to the Associate Dean for the MLS Program, the Associate Director helps the Associate Dean manage and administer the MLS program (both masters and certificate students). The following non-exhaustive list includes examples of the kinds of projects on which the Associate Director will work:
The incumbent, if qualified, may also be eligible for appointment as an adjunct professor to teach MLS-related courses.
