Acrotech Biopharma is focused on building a presence in unmet needs in oncology and dermatology. We are currently building out a new Dermatology Business Unit to launch ADQUEY a novel treatment for mild to moderate Atopic Dermatitis.

Job Overview

The Associate Director, Dermatology Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) will support the successful launch and growth of ADQUEY by identifying market needs, opportunities, and emerging trends through strategic insight generation. These insights will help inform home office marketing strategies and activities. The TLL will also be responsible for building advocacy for ADQUEY and Acrotech among Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), professional societies, advocacy organizations, and other influential stakeholders within the dermatology community.

As an individual contributor, the Associate Director, Dermatology TLL will manage a defined geographic region and serve as the primary liaison between Acrotech and key external stakeholders. This individual will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other internal partners to support brand objectives and ensure alignment with overall commercial strategy.

The Associate Director, Dermatology TLL will report to the Director, Dermatology Thought Leader Liaison and will be responsible for developing and executing regional KOL engagement plans within their assigned geography.

All TLL interactions are always within label, and consistent with commercial compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

KOL Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Identify, profile, cultivate, and maintain strategic relationships with regional and national KOLs.
  • Develop and execute customized engagement plans to strengthen advocacy and support key business objectives.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external thought leaders and speakers within the assigned geography.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and compliant engagement strategy.

Speaker Bureau Management

  • Support the development, recruitment, onboarding, and training of speaker bureau faculty.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to manage speaker contracting, compliance requirements, and training activities.
  • Monitor speaker utilization and identify opportunities to expand educational reach and impact.
  • Support promotional speaker programs and educational events throughout the region.

Congress & Advisory Board Leadership

  • Plan and execute KOL engagements at local, regional, and national congresses.
  • Coordinate executive encounters and strategic meetings during major medical conferences.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Medical Affairs to develop advisory board strategy, content, and objectives.
  • Attend and support advisory board meetings as needed.

Strategic Commercial Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations to ensure alignment around thought leader strategies.
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive insights, and key stakeholder perspectives.
  • Share field intelligence and actionable insights with brand teams and senior leadership.
  • Support KOL mapping, influence network analysis, and advocacy development initiatives.

Educational Programming & Regional Initiatives

  • Develop and implement regional educational strategies aligned with brand priorities.
  • Drive initiatives that increase awareness, education, and engagement among target healthcare professionals.
  • Support execution of regional sponsorships, educational grants, and strategic partnerships.
  • Measure program effectiveness and recommend enhancements to improve impact.

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements

Required

  • BA/BS degree in business, science, or other related discipline.
  • 8+ years pharmaceutical experience.
  • 4+ years of dermatology with demonstrated established relationships with dermatology KOLs.
  • Previous Thought Leader or Regional Marketing experience
  • Ability to travel overnight to cover a multi-state geography and attend home office, local/regional/national meetings and conventions as necessary.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%

Preferred

  • Experience within dermatology, immunology, oncology, or specialty pharmaceutical markets.
  • Launch experience strongly preferred.
  • Established network of KOL relationships within relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Experience supporting speaker bureaus, advisory boards, and major medical congresses.

Travel Requirements

  • Approximately 60% or greater travel within the assigned geography.
  • Attendance at regional and national conferences, meetings, and training programs as required.

Salary will be commensurate with industry and dermatology experience.
