About this RoleAs an entry-level energy engineer, you will develop skills necessary to thrive in the evolving energy industry while gaining practical hands-on experience of building systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in performing energy audits (ASHRAE Level 1 through investment grade) for clients across various industries.Develop a comprehensive understanding of building systems and recommend energy-saving measures.Inventory greenhouse gas emissions, establish baselines, and compare to thresholds.Perform calculations to quantify annual energy/cost savings and GHG reductions.Develop budget-quality project cost estimates.Use calibrated testing equipment to conduct retro-commissioning field testing.Help develop decarbonization and electrification strategic plans.Evaluate renewable and energy efficiency technologies and conduct feasibility studies with 3D modeling and simulations.Hone technical, communication, and leadership skills.Foster effective business relationships internally and externally.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a sustainability and energy concentration.Preferred QualificationsInterest in decarbonization, electrification, and sustainability.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to travel up to 25%.Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.Certification such as CEM/EMIT, EIT/FE (if applicable).LocationCAN87: New York 40 Fulton Street 15th Floor, New York, NY 10038, USA.Pay Range$60,750 - $85,250 Annually.Equal Opportunity StatementCarrier is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
