A growing wealth management practice in Williamsport, PA is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join its team. This opportunity is well suited for someone who is interested in building a long-term career in financial planning and wealth management, whether they are beginning their career or bringing relevant financial services experience to the role.
The Associate Financial Advisor will work closely with the advisory team and participate in client meetings, financial planning activities, investment recommendations, and other aspects of the financial advisory process. The ideal candidate will be motivated to develop strong client relationships, expand their knowledge of investments and financial planning, and gradually take on greater responsibility within the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in client meetings and assist with developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Support the financial planning process and assist with investment recommendations and related - client needs.
- Work closely with the advisory team to learn the various functions of a wealth management practice.
- Build knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and financial planning concepts.
- Develop the skills and experience necessary to take on increasing responsibility as a financial advisor.
- Maintain a professional, dependable, and client-focused approach when working with clients and team members.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice through strong communication, follow-through, and relationship building.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Genuine interest in investments, financial planning, and wealth management.
- Motivated, dependable, and willing to learn.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build trust and develop meaningful relationships with clients.
