About the Job:

We are currently looking to hire an Associate Sales Planning Manager to join our Sales Department.

The Associate Sales Planning Manager collaborates with teams across the company to drive long-term growth and profitability at Horizon Family Brands (HFB). As a member of our team, you will play an active role in achieving our targets by managing the financial execution of the business plan and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve the strategic priorities for the customers we support along with broader company objectives. The Associate Manager Sales Planning is a key business partner for the sales team. This role supports critical financial and planning processes and works closely cross-functional partners to influence business outcomes.

This is a hybrid position with an expectation of 3 days per week on-site in Broomfield, CO, remote work would be considered.

This role may be responsible for, but not limited to:

Sales Planning

• Lead sales planning activities across grocery, convenience, and food service channels.
• Develop and maintain short and long-term trade forecasts aligned with customer demand, promotional calendars, and business objectives.
• Partner with Sales and Demand Planning teams to improve forecast accuracy and inventory alignment.
• Analyze sales trends, customer performance, market conditions, and seasonality to identify risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly forecast cycle and processes for the Grocery and Regional Grocery sales divisions
• Effectively communicate business outlook along with risks and opportunities to finance and sales partners
• Influence and guide sales teams and other stakeholders to profitable business decisions
• Act as liaison between demand planning team and sales team to drive alignment to volume forecasts
• Partner with sales team to develop customer level plans within the trade management system
• Assist teams in the development of full year plans, Plan Alignment Meetings (PAM), and ongoing annual refinement of forecasts to achieve financial results.
• Collaborate with category commercial sales team, revenue management team, and customer sales team to establish trade targets and support pricing strategies
• Support ad-hoc requests with thoughtful analysis and actionable insights

The base compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $92,000 commensurate with experience.

About You:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree - Finance, Business administration, Economics, or similar Preferred
• 3-5 years of Sales, Finance or Supply Chain experience, preferably in the CPG industry
• Strong Analytical Skills, prior business experience in Key account manager, Sales Analyst, or Demand/Supply planning roles.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Power point, BI tools, SAP, etc)
• Proactive and constructive attitude
• Colorado base preference
