Description
The Associate Sales Representative (ASR) is an entry-level, field-based position responsible for meeting sales, activity, and financial goals within an assigned territory. The role includes a competitive salary, full benefits, bonus eligibility, and a company vehicle. After 12 months, the ASR is eligible for a salary increase and after 24 months the ASR is eligible for another increase and evaluation for potential promotion to Specialty Sales Representative based on performance. This position will report to the Regional Sales Manager. Success requires strong selling ability, customer relationship development, territory planning, organizational skills, attention to detail, consistent adherence to compliance policies, and ambition to grow with the Company.
Achieve or exceed all business and sales objectives
Promote products to health care providers in the assigned territory
Build and maintain professional customer and account relationships
Analyze data to create territory business plans and growth strategies
Manage territory budget for sales and marketing activities
Utilize and demonstrate proficiency in the selling model
Participate in ongoing learning and development programs
Complete required administrative tasks, including expense reports and CRM documentation
Conduct all activities in alignment with Compliance policies and training
Other duties as assigned from time to time
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; or Associate’s degree + military experience accepted
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry (preferred)
Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Organized, self-motivated, and strong in time management with a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and ethics
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Must live within assigned territory and be able to travel 100% within territory, including possible overnights
Valid driver’s license with acceptable record; eligible to operate company vehicle
