Summary:
 The role involves performing experiments, organizing data, and analyzing results under minimal supervision. The candidate will plan, conduct, or monitor experiments, record and organize data, analyze results, and ensure that contracted studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines and regulations.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor or follow established experimental design and protocols to perform routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision.
  • Plan, monitor, or conduct, analyze, and record experiments, and provide interpretation of data.
  • Develop and implement new protocols with moderate review.
  • Work efficiently in a matrix team environment and collaborate with coworkers.
  • Communicate data and interpretation to the work group.
  • Develop systems to ensure quality data.
  • Be skilled and/or knowledgeable in the use of standard laboratory equipment and with one or more major laboratory instruments/techniques (HPLC, CE, physical property testing).
  • Effectively troubleshoot equipment and experimental difficulties.
  • Contribute to internal/external reports, papers, presentations, regulatory documents, invention disclosure submissions, and/or patents.
  • Participate in department-wide support efforts such as safety, recruiting, and committees.
  • Train staff and/or supervise others as necessary.
  • Coordinate and organize resources needed to complete tasks.
  • Understand when to seek input and when to make independent judgments.
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, or a related discipline.
  • BS with at least 2 years of experience in a Biopharmaceutical working environment, or an MS is preferred.
  • Skilled and/or knowledgeable in the use of standard laboratory equipment and with one or more major laboratory instruments/techniques (HPLC, CE, physical property testing).
  • Ability to communicate data and interpretation to the work group.
  • Experience in monitoring or following established experimental design and protocols to perform routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision.
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
