The Associate Surgical Technician assists surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, organizing surgical instruments, and providing intraoperative support to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Surgical Technology Program preferred

Certifications: BLS – American Heart Association

Experience

• Minimum 1 year recent experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician
• Operating Room experience
• Experience maintaining sterile field
• Experience assisting during surgical procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) upon hire.
• Acute Care Hospital experience
• Ambulatory Surgery Center experience
• Experience with multiple surgical specialties
