Associate Transportation Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Coordinator – Transportation to support daily transportation operations, including load planning, scheduling, carrier coordination, and shipment monitoring. This role works closely with internal teams, carriers, facilities, and customers to ensure timely and efficient product movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule transportation loads.
• Tender and monitor loads with carriers.
• Manage order changes, rush requests, and transportation exceptions.
• Confirm final loads and maintain accurate transportation data.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Facilities, Carriers, and Supply Chain teams.
• Resolve shipment issues and discrepancies promptly.
• Support continuous improvement and transportation initiatives.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college education preferred.
• Transportation or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Potential/rare travel may be required.
