DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for a small-animal practice in the greater Dayton, Ohio area.

This opportunity offers a veterinarian the chance to practice general medicine and surgery within a collaborative clinical environment while developing long-term relationships with clients and their pets. What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive wellness and preventive care
• Diagnose and treat medical conditions in small-animal patients
• Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans
• Perform general surgical procedures appropriate to experience and skill level
• Educate clients regarding preventive care, treatment recommendations, and ongoing patient needs
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians, support staff, and fellow veterinarians
• Participate in continued professional and clinical development

What We’re Looking For

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
• Current veterinary license or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure
• Strong medical judgment and commitment to high-quality patient care
• General medicine and surgical skills appropriate to experience level
• Effective client communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative approach to veterinary medicine
• Interest in continued professional growth

Veterinarians at different stages of their careers may be considered, with experience expectations evaluated based on clinical background and the needs of the practice.
