Associate Veterinarian – Baltimore, MD

 

A growing small animal practice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medical and surgical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning for companion animals

  • Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions

  • Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures as appropriate

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate recommendations to pet owners

  • Utilize diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and other medical technologies to support patient care

  • Educate clients on preventive medicine, wellness care, and treatment options

  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care

  • Uphold medical standards and best practices while promoting a positive client experience

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

  • Active veterinary license or ability to obtain licensure

  • Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills

  • Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities

  • Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based medicine

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
