You shouldn't have to choose between autonomy as a veterinarian and having experienced doctors around when you want another opinion. At this well-established small animal hospital, you can have both.

Our client has served the Oak Creek community for decades. Veterinarians are trusted to practice medicine, encouraged to bring new ideas, and supported by colleagues who genuinely collaborate. You'll never be the only veterinarian working; typically, 2–3 doctors are in the hospital each day.

This hospital provides the space, technology, caseload, and clinical support needed to fully work up cases and continue developing as a veterinarian. Long-standing client relationships also allow doctors to practice with pet owners who value thoughtful recommendations and quality care.

• Ultrasound and digital radiology, including dental radiology

• Full in-house IDEXX diagnostic suite, including newer AI-assisted cytology capabilities

When a doctor expressed interest in developing an exotics service, our client supported protocol development, team training, and equipment acquisition to make it possible. Schedule & Caseload

• Consistent weekday off

• Every other Saturday morning

• Approximately 15–20 appointments per day

• 20-minute routine appointments

• 30-minute sick appointments

• Dedicated surgery-day opportunity available

Compensation & Benefits

• $125,000–$150,000 base salary, depending on experience

• Employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance

• Employer-paid short-term disability

• 401(k) with employer contribution and year-end profit-sharing structure

• Paid time off

• Dedicated CE days plus CE allowance

• Paid Wisconsin veterinary license, AVMA, and WVMA dues

• Ability to bring your dog to work when daycare space allows

New Graduates Welcome

This practice believes supporting the next generation of veterinarians is an important investment. New graduates receive mentorship, access to experienced doctors, and hands-on guidance as their confidence grows. Recent graduates have benefited from extended mentorship opportunities, including shared surgery days with experienced veterinarians as they develop surgical skills.

We're seeking a small animal veterinarian who is self-motivated, communicates well, cares deeply about patients and clients, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. Surgical interest is a plus but not required. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is committed to practicing excellent medicine, continuing to learn, and contributing to a supportive team environment.
