Job Summary

Under the general supervision of an assigned supervisor, the Associated Student Body (ASB) Assistant supports student engagement by performing a variety of clerical, customer service, and inventory-related duties. This position ensures consistent front-counter coverage for the Associated Student Body Office and operational support for the Student Store. Responsibilities include assisting with student activities and athletic events, processing payments, managing inventory, and providing logistical and communication support to strengthen student participation and campus service delivery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required. • One year of experience in either retail sales/cashiering or clerical, data entry, or administrative support.

This recruitment is being conducted to establish an eligibility list that will be used to fill the current long-term substitute assignment and any vacancies that may occur during the life of the list, for up to one year. The eligibility list may also be used to fill future permanent, substitute, temporary, and long-term assignments. The current vacancy is a part-time long-term substitute assignment at Simi Valley High School, working 3.75 hours per day for an anticipated duration of approximately six months. APPLICATION DEADLINE: Completed applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on November 3, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted. TESTING PROCESS: A) Multiple Choice Test = 40% weighting on final score Tentatively scheduled for as early as the week of November 9, 2026. B) Structured Interview = 60% weighting on final score Tentatively scheduled for as early as the week of November 16, 2026.
