Overview

A large national CPA and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Senior in Appleton to deliver industry-focused audit and assurance services to middle market clients.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients throughout the year to gather information and respond to questions
• Plan and supervise audit engagement activities
• Review and perform substantive testing on balance sheets and income statements
• Conduct and review internal control testing and recommend improvements
• Discuss business recommendations with managers and partners
• Build strong internal and client relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's or advanced degree in accounting
• CPA or actively pursuing the exams (CPA eligible)
• 3+ years of financial statement audit experience in public accounting
• Strong time management, communication and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office skills
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
