Summary
The AYS Agent serves as the primary point of contact for guest requests, inquiries, and in-room dining orders. This role ensures exceptional guest service by responding efficiently to calls, coordinating with hotel departments, and following up on all requests. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, guest-focused, and skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
Answer and respond to guest calls promptly and professionally, providing solutions or dispatching service requests as needed.
Coordinate with departments to fulfill guest needs, documenting and following up to ensure timely resolution.
Take in-room dining orders, demonstrating strong menu knowledge and suggestive selling techniques.
Accurately input and process orders through the Point of Sale system, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction.
Maintain detailed call logs, guest request tracking, and daily communication records for each shift.
Provide guests with accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and area services.
Monitor and manage outstanding guest requests, ensuring completion before shift end.
Follow established emergency procedures and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in all situations.
Uphold confidentiality and security of all guest and hotel information.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to all safety and operational standards.
What You’ll Bring
Exceptional communication and guest service skills with a warm, professional demeanor.
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
Familiarity with hotel systems and Point of Sale (POS) software, such as MICROS.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
