At Bone & Joint, we're looking for a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) & Clinical Support Specialist to join our Therapy team. In this unique role, you'll provide athletic training coverage for local schools and community events while also supporting patient care within our clinic environment. What You'll DoProvide athletic training services for local high school athletic programs, practices, games, tournaments, and community sporting eventsEvaluate athletic injuries and illnesses and develop treatment and rehabilitation plansAssist athletes with return-to-play protocols and coordinate care with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionalsEducate athletes and coaches on injury prevention, treatment, and recovery strategiesFacilitate athlete appointments and concussion management programsProvide clinic support, including clinical assistant duties and durable medical equipment (DME) fitting assistanceMaintain injury documentation and communication through athletic training software platformsCollaborate with fellow athletic trainers to ensure coverage across schools and sporting eventsWhat We're Looking ForBoard of Certification for Athletic TrainersCurrent Wisconsin Athletic Training License or ability to obtain Wisconsin licensureCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationStrong communication and interpersonal skills with athletes, coaches, parents, and healthcare providersSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situationsValid Wisconsin driver's licenseBonus Points If You HaveExperience working with adolescent athletesExperience with concussion management and baseline testing programsPrevious athletic training coverage for schools or competitive athletic programsKnowledge of injury tracking and communication software such as Healthy RosterBuild your career.
