Job Summary:

The athletic trainer technician will assist athletic trainers with performance of duties including, but, not limited to: athletic training room preparation, quality control initiatives, event set up, inventory, equipment preparations, patient care assistance with appropriate supervision, and related documentation. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Job Duties

May assist Athletic Trainer with patient care duties and other functions related to athletic training.

May assist Athletic Trainer with documentation and communication regarding patient care.

Support the Athletic Trainer with the preparation and execution of events and special projects.

Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

• High School Diploma
• Basic Life Support/AED/First Aid Training Certification
• Enrollment/graduate of accredited Masters of Athletic Training (MSAT) program
