Position Details

Calvin Christian High School has an important custodial position available for our high school campus and soccer facility.

We are blessed with wonderful school facilities, and maintaining them with excellence is an important part of creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, families, and guests. We're looking for dependable, hardworking people who take pride in their work and would enjoy contributing to the GCCS community in a very tangible way.

Working approximately 2 - 4 hours on athletic event nights, with hours varying based on the athletic schedule. Responsibilities include helping keep our gym, restrooms, spectator areas, and soccer facilities clean and welcoming during and following events.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum gymnasium floors, bleachers, and walkways after events.
• Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins at both indoor gym and outdoor soccer field locations.
• Restroom Upkeep: Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms during and after athletic competitions.
• Grounds Care: Pick up litter around the Morren Soccer Fields and spectator areas.
• Facility Security: Ensure buildings and gates are properly locked and secured at the end of the shift.

Qualifications

• Strong reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to accommodate changing game schedules (evenings and occasional weekends).
• Must pass a standard background check.
