The role involves advising clients on probate matters, managing a variety of probate cases, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing guidance on estate planning. The Associate Attorney will also engage in client consultations, represent clients in court proceedings, and collaborate with team members to achieve optimal outcomes. The Associate Attorney will also engage in client consultations, represent clients in court proceedings, and collaborate with team members to achieve optimal outcomes. This role has a potential leadership path as the firm is expanding and opening new offices. Additional attorneys will be needed and this role could be supervisory in the future.QualificationsProficiency in Probate Law and general Legal Practice; 3-5 years minimum experience requiredExperience with all facets of the Probate code and litigation tacticsStrong Research and Legal Writing skillsEffective Negotiation skills and ability to resolve disputesProbate or Civil trial experienceSolid organizational, time management, and analytical abilitiesActive license to practice law in the state of GeorgiaStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and colleaguesPrevious experience in probate, estate planning, or real estate law (preferred but not required)IndustryLegal ServicesEmployment TypeFull-TimeCompany DescriptionWe are a faith based law firm with a great working atmosphere that cares about it's clients and employees.
