Description
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations, and before government agencies.
- Take and defend expert and percipient depositions.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation documents.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Advise clients on commercial, business, corporate, and real estate transactions.
- Structure, negotiate, and prepare agreements for business and real estate transactions.
- Draft and review settlement agreements and other transactional documents.
- Prepare and negotiate corporate documents, including:
- Business entity formation documents
- Operating agreements
- Partnership agreements
- Subscription agreements
- Corporate bylaws
- Investment and ownership structures
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing strategic legal guidance.
- Perform administrative and practice management responsibilities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- 7–10 years of litigation and/or real estate transactional experience.
- Strong knowledge of California and Federal laws, rules, and procedures.
- Excellent legal research, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience representing privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
- Experience handling both litigation and transactional legal matters.
- Existing book of business is welcomed but not required.
- Background in commercial, corporate, and real estate law.

Compensation
Base Salary - USD $180,000 to $275,000
