Job Overview

We are seeking a mid- to senior-level Attorney specializing in complex litigation. You will manage matters from initial research through trial preparation, provide clear legal counsel, and advocate effectively for clients. The role calls for strong judgment, precise legal writing, and the ability to handle varied litigation needs. Your impact: Thorough case strategy and preparation help clients make informed decisions and pursue their legal interests effectively.

Duties

• Manage general and commercial litigation, including personal injury and employment law matters.
• Conduct legal and statutory research using LexisNexis and Westlaw; analyze procedural law and relevant regulations.
• Draft contracts, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; support trial preparation and conduct court depositions.
• Communicate with clients, negotiate resolutions, and provide legal advocacy throughout case proceedings.
• Coordinate legal case management and administrative work, collaborating on matters that may involve estate planning, environmental, immigration, landlord-tenant, family, securities, workers’ compensation, tribal, or patent law.

Experience

• Mid- to senior-level litigation experience, including law office experience and demonstrated legal case management.
• Strong legal research, writing, drafting, motion preparation, negotiation, and client communication skills.
• Experience with personal injury cases and employment law cases is relevant; familiarity with the practice areas listed above is an asset.
• Ability to manage complex matters, apply procedural law knowledge, and prepare clear, persuasive legal arguments.
