A highly regarded California-based environmental + labor + land use boutique firm is seeking an attorney with at least 2+ years of experience practicing before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
Key Responsibilities:
Handle CPUC proceedings, filings, and regulatory matters
Draft briefs, comments, and legal memoranda
Conduct legal research and policy analysis
Participate in administrative hearings and advocacy
Collaborate with stakeholders, including unions and environmental groups
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of CPUC or equivalent regulatory experience
Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
J.D. from an accredited law school
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Compensation & Benefits:
$120,000 – $175,000 base salary (DOE)
Discretionary bonus and profit sharing

Remote-flexible with no strict in-office requirement
Must be within commuting distance to South San Francisco or Sacramento
