Job Description: Insurance Coverage Associate | Washington, DC / Multi-Office (Hybrid) – Up to $175k Location/Schedule: Washington, DC / Multi-Office (Hybrid) Base Salary: Up to $175k (plus performance incentives) Practice: Insurance Coverage – Complex coverage opinions, declaratory judgment actions, bad faith litigation, and high-exposure claims for insurers and corporate clients. Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze complex insurance policies and prepare detailed coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters. Handle declaratory judgment actions and bad faith litigation. Manage high-exposure coverage disputes from initial analysis through litigation and resolution. Advise clients on coverage strategy, claim handling, and risk management. Collaborate with partners on sophisticated coverage and liability matters with increasing responsibility. Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates): JD and active bar admission in at least one jurisdiction (multi-jurisdictional experience a plus). 3–7+ years of insurance coverage or complex insurance litigation experience with strong analytical and writing skills.
