Attorney – Social Security Disability

Philadelphia, PA | $100K–$150K+ | Direct Hire

Our client, a Philadelphia law firm, is hiring an Attorney with a background in Social Security law to join its disability practice.

What you will do:

• Represent claimants in Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) matters from initial application through appeals
• Prepare cases for and represent clients at hearings before Administrative Law Judges
• Review and develop medical evidence, draft pre-hearing briefs and on-the-record requests, and handle Appeals Council and federal court appeals as needed
• Communicate with clients, the Social Security Administration, and medical providers throughout the life of each case
• Manage a disability caseload with support from paralegals and case staff

What you bring:

• J.D. and admission to the Pennsylvania bar (active and in good standing)
• A background in Social Security disability law, including ALJ hearing experience
• Strong legal writing, case preparation, and client communication skills

Compensation is $100K–$150K+ depending on experience. This is a direct hire position.
