Division: Associate, Counsel, Virtual Office, and Law Student Attorney Recruiting

Location: Remote or Hybrid (candidates must reside in the Central or Eastern Time Zones). This role offers the flexibility to work fully remotely or in a hybrid arrangement, and may include the option to work from a Fisher Phillips office two to three days per week.

Position Summary
The Attorney Recruiting Coordinator – Level I is an early-career professional who supports attorney recruiting for assigned offices, practice groups, and firmwide recruiting initiatives, with primary responsibility for the firm’s Virtual Office attorney recruiting.

This role is designed for candidates who may be stepping up from an assistant role or joining from another industry. The Coordinator I works closely with and under the direction of a Recruiting Manager, gaining exposure to all aspects of recruiting while building judgment and independence.

While the primary focus is Virtual Office recruiting, the Coordinator may also support select partner-track lateral attorney and law student recruiting initiatives as business needs require.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Virtual Office Recruiting

  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities for Virtual Office attorney positions nationwide.
  • Source attorney candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, job boards, and other recruiting resources.
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening conversations to assess qualifications and interest.
  • Support the development and maintenance of candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, hiring attorneys, and approved search firms throughout the recruiting process.
  • Coordinate interviews for attorney candidates, including scheduling, virtual meeting logistics, and candidate communications.
  • Prepare interview materials, candidate evaluation packets, offer letters, and recruiting correspondence.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new attorney hires in partnership with HR, IT, Office Administrators, and hiring attorneys.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system and ensure recruiting data is accurate and current.


Additional Recruiting Support

  • Support partner-track lateral attorney recruiting initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with Summer Clerk Program logistics, OCI scheduling, callback interviews, and recruiting events.
  • Process recruiting expenses and invoices.
  • Assist with recruiting metrics, reporting, data tracking, and administrative projects.
  • Support recruiting projects and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Two or more years of recruiting, legal recruiting, professional services, or attorney search experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with applicant tracking systems is required. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, viGlobal, and iManage is preferred.

  • Demonstrates curiosity and comfort learning new recruiting technologies and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and candidate experience.

Compensation

The hourly rate range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
