Our auction subsidiary, JJ Kane, extends the lifecycle of critical equipment that allows new markets - small businesses and local individuals - to continue using products. JJ Kane auctions all types of used equipment including bucket trucks, digger derricks, construction equipment, back hoes, skid steers, mini excavators, tractor crawlers, dozers, fleet cars and more! Right now, JJ Kane has an opening for an Auction Site Coordinator in our Sparks, NV yard. • Advocate for the customer - Work as a liaison between sales, customers, and auction operations. Help ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Your handling of many of the day-to-day needs of our existing buyers and sellers enables the outside sales team to spend more time finding new consignors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all equipment deliveries from consignors and transporters.
• Safely drive and operate vehicles and equipment.
• Capture high-quality images and create accurate descriptions of all equipment being sold.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of commonly sold products, customers, and administrative and production processes.
• Assist in approving items to be included in the auction and on the website.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers, buyers, and transporters, resolving any customer service issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist with item pick-up after the sale and maintain accurate inventory records for the site.
• Ensure all safety and environmental inspections are completed, and processes follow company standards and regulations.
• Travel required up to 25%.
• All other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• High School Diploma, state-approved High School Equivalency, or GED
• Available for overnight travel required
• 1 year of prior auction or heavy machine/equipment/automotive knowledge required
• Knowledge of utility, construction and aerial device equipment a plus
• Must be able to analyze problems & develop solutions
• Good communication skills are a must
• Candidate must be able to independently manage their time and tasks
• Demonstrated Customer and People Skills
• Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision
