Position Overview

Trusted Medical is seeking a part-time Audiologist to perform disability evaluation examinations for Veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Audiologist will review medical and military records, conduct in-person Veteran interviews, administer diagnostic audiology testing, and provide medical opinions regarding the relationship between a Veteran's audiological conditions and military service.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records and clinical documentation.
• Conduct in-person interviews and examinations with Veterans.
• Administer and interpret audiology testing, including immittance, air and bone conduction, and speech testing.
• Prepare and submit examination documentation in accordance with VA requirements and established deadlines.
• Maintain audiology equipment, supplies, and clinical workspace.
• Follow applicable medical laws, regulations, guidelines, and professional standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Doctorate in Audiology (AuD), Master's Degree in Audiology (MA), or Master of Science in Audiology (MS).
• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license in the state where examinations are performed.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Professional board certification preferred but not required. Candidates without certification must be able to verify their degree was obtained from an accredited university.
• One year of audiology experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Schedule & Opportunity

• Part-time employment: Approximately 20 hours per week.
• Office hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM.
• Scheduling available in 4-, 8-, or 10-hour shifts.
• No weekend or holiday requirements specified.

Required Health Documentation

• TB screening (within the last 12 months).
• Hepatitis B titers (within the last 12 months).
