The Role
As an Audit Manager, you will lead and manage multiple audit and review engagements while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. You will play a key role in supervising teams, maintaining high technical standards, and supporting business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and plan audit and review engagements from start to finish
- Apply advanced knowledge of GAAP and GAAS to resolve complex accounting and audit issues
- Serve as the primary client contact and build long‑term client relationships
- Coordinate services across client groups to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Supervise, train, and mentor Seniors and Supervisors
- Review workpapers and financial statements for quality and accuracy
- Participate in networking and business development activities
- Support firm growth through referrals and client expansion
- Primarily local travel within the Phoenix metro area
What Our Client Is Looking For
- 5–9 years of public accounting audit experience
- Active CPA license required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Prior experience managing multiple engagements simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Professional, dependable, and client‑focused mindset
- Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Experience with audit engagement software a plus
