    Position Overview

    The Audit Manager will be responsible for leading audit and assurance engagements, managing client relationships, mentoring team members, and driving the successful execution of client projects. This role offers significant exposure to business owners and executive leadership teams while providing opportunities for professional growth and business development.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
    • Review workpapers, financial statements, and related deliverables prior to final review by firm leadership.
    • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and supervisors while supporting their professional growth.
    • Maintain and strengthen client relationships throughout the year, identifying opportunities to provide additional services.
    • Coordinate engagement staffing and scheduling to maximize team utilization and project efficiency.
    • Build relationships with business owners, referral sources, and professional networks to support business development initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
    • Active CPA license required.
    • 5+ years of public accounting experience, preferably within a mid-sized or regional accounting firm.
    • Prior experience at the Manager level, including engagement and team leadership responsibilities.
    • Strong client-service orientation with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to mentor professionals, manage multiple engagements, and work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
