Description
Audit Senior
Dynamic and thriving CPA firm in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a Remote Audit Senior to join their team. This role will focus on diverse audit and assurance engagements with a hybrid schedule to provide flexibility and work-life balance. Responsibilities
- Conducting audit and review procedures and assisting with special projects
- Gaining insight into clients' businesses, industries, and control systems
- Evaluating risks and internal control structures
- Performing analytical procedures, substantive tests, and tests of controls to address accounting issues
- Reviewing and preparing financial statements and client deliverables
- Overseeing, training, and evaluating staff and experienced auditors
- Cultivating strong client relationships
- Involvement in all stages of client engagements, from planning to completion
- Demonstrating technical proficiency and adherence to professional standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- At least two years of public accounting experience
- CPA license or in the process of obtaining one
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
