Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team remotely or in the LA area. This is a full-time position that will focus on auditing not-for-profit organizations and privately held businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit procedures and be able to manage client relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for not-for-profit organizations and privately held businesses

- Plan and execute audit procedures in accordance with professional standards and firm policies

- Review and analyze client financial statements and related documents

- Identify and communicate accounting and reporting issues to clients

- Prepare and review workpapers and financial statements

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service

- Train and mentor junior staff members

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

- CPA license or in the process of obtaining one

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on auditing

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS

- Experience working with not-for-profit organizations and privately held businesses is preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software
