Auto Body Technician

Location: 3001 Washington Ave, Alton, IL 62002
Pay: $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM


About the Role:
Andy’s Auto Body is seeking skilled Auto Body Technicians who take pride in restoring vehicles through quality collision repairs. We’re looking for dependable professionals with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with a team.


Responsibilities:

• Inspect collision damage and follow repair plans and manufacturer procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed for repairs.
• Repair or replace damaged body panels and related components.
• Complete body work, sanding, and preparation for refinishing.
• Communicate additional damage or repair needs to the estimating team.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and meet shop quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of collision repair; journeyman-level experience preferred.
• Must have your own tools and bring them to work.
• I-CAR certification preferred; ASE certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of CCC estimating and repair management software recommended.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and teamwork.
