Auto Mechanic

Adecco is seeking Auto Mechanics for openings with our client in Allen Park, MI. 

Pay is up to $29 hourly depending on experience. Apply today!  

As an Auto Mechanic, you will perform a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on cars and trucks. You will perform independent tasks and collaborate with customers and team members.

AM and PM shifts available. Adecco staff will you with finding the right position for you!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain vehicle functional condition working off repair orders or leader instructions

• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components

• Read, interpret, and follow service procedures

• Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders

• Keep ship equipment operating by following operating instructions

These Auto Mechanics positions require:

• Must have minimum of 1 year experience and up to 8 years previous personal or professional auto mechanic experience depending on position

• Knowledge of mechanical assembly and ability to operate shop equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Must have rolling toolbox and tools

• Good attention to detail and organizational skills

• Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures

• Proven excellent attendance/punctuality and be willing to work overtime/weekends as needed

• Certificate in Automotive Technology or related (preferred)

• State Mechanic Certification(s) preferred

• Valid driver's license preferred

Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
