What Youll Do
Provide expert nursing care in a Medical/Surgical setting, managing a patient ratio of 1:5-6
Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care plans accurately in EPIC
Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, adapting to complex psychological, emotional, and social needs
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatments
Float across various MED/SURG departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and clinical competence
What You Need
Required:
RN License in state of employment or compact
BLS certification from AHA
At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Experience with EPIC EMR system
