 Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate is passionate about automotive technology, has strong problem-solving skills.                                     This role involves hands-on work with cars and trucks, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, and exhaust systems.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate estimates for repairs.
  • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality control.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and shop standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members about repair needs and progress.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry best practices through training.Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic (2+ years preferred).
  • ASE certification or equivalent (e.g., in brakes, suspension, electrical systems) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various positions.
  • High school diploma or GED; technical school training is advantageous.
  • Automatic & Standard Transmission experience is a plus.
Compensation: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
