Autobody Paint & Body Technician

We are seeking experienced Autobody Paint & Body Technicians to join our growing team at Auffenberg Dealer Group in Shiloh, Illinois. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of auto body repair services on a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities May Include:- Priming, Prepping, Sanding, Masking for Paint- Conducting full vehicle inspections to determine the extent of damage and necessary repairs- Repairing and replacing damaged body parts, such as doors, fenders, and bumpers- Straightening and aligning frames and chassis- Welding and soldering damaged areas- Prepping and painting vehicles to match original factory specifications- Repair and refinish damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues- Work efficiently and accurately to meet or exceed deadlines- Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Body Shop Technician- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools- Ability to read and interpret repair orders and estimates- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods- I-CAR certification is a plus- Proficient in all aspects of body repair and refinishing- Knowledge of frame repair and measuring techniques- Experience with advanced repair techniques such as welding, riveting, and bonding- Strong attention to detail and quality
