An Automation Controls Technician at Pacific Seafood - Kodiak is a key role on our Processing Plant team supporting efforts to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our facilities and infrastructure. This position involves implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of control systems for industrial automation. They are responsible for ensuring efficient and effective operation of machinery, equipment, and processes. key_responsibilities : Troubleshooting and Repairing: Electrical Controls Wiring, 0-24 volt Controls System voltages4-20mA Current Loops, 0-10VDC circuits, Sensors, Encoders, etc. Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi Devices and PLC's, Innova DCSIndustrial Networks, Ethernet IP, Modbus, TCP/IP, EtherCATElectro-pneumatic and Electro-hydraulic controlsRobot Controllers, FANUC, and related systems and componentsVFD Operation and ConfigurationDirect Electricians on Automation Related Systems of Higher VoltagesSCADA/HMI systems for monitoring and controlling industrial processesOther programs, as assignedProcess Improvement and Task Management: Evaluate systems or processes for opportunities to improve reliability and performance.Recommend Identified improvements to Automation Controls Engineer(s) for Production Improvements.Work with Controls Engineers on HMI/SCADA development/refinement.Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
