Required Skills & Attributes - Primary

• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, DevOps, or software engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation development
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Cloud experience in Azure (primary), with working knowledge of AWS and/or GCP
• Experience integrating systems and tools via APIs to automate workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to reduce manual processes through automation

• Experience supporting security automation, compliance, or audit programs (e.g., HITRUST)
• Familiarity with cloud security, logging, or monitoring tools
• Experience in highly regulated environments (healthcare preferred)
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI agents and leveraging GenAI frameworks in engineering or operations workflows
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams
• Relevant certifications (Azure, AWS, Terraform, Security, or DevOps)

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions using Python, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Build and optimize cloud automation across Azure, with contributions to AWS and GCP environments
• Integrate tools and platforms to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Support compliance and audit efforts by automating control execution and evidence collection
• Identify and eliminate manual processes to improve reliability, scalability, and performance

· Preferred Experience / Domain Expertise

• Experience in cloud-first environments with Azure as the primary platform
• Background in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries
• Experience supporting automation in security, infrastructure, or platform engineering teams
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale environments and tool integrations

· AI Skills (Standard Requirement)

• Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other approved GenAI platforms
• Leverage AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows
• Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity

· Projects / Initiatives

• Automation and operational support for AI/ML platforms and workflows, including model deployment pipelines, data processing, and monitoring
• Integration and optimization of cloud infrastructure (Azure-first) to support scalable AI/ML workloads
• Security and compliance automation for AI/ML systems, including audit readiness (e.g., HITRUST), model governance, and evidence collection
• CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub Actions) for AI/ML lifecycle management, including testing, deployment, and rollback
• Multi-cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) automation to enable resilient and scalable AI/ML environments
