Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Automation Engineer General for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will Support conveyor system installations and production operations by overseeing field implementation, contractor activities, and adherence to project schedules.

Rate Range: $40/Hour to $42/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Automation Engineer General Responsibilities include:

• Support conveyor system installations for new program launches and current production operations.

• Supervise contractors during major installation windows to ensure work is completed on schedule.

• Monitor and oversee conveyor construction activities while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for conveyor system issues as needed.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and assembly line operations.

• Ensure compliance with company launch processes, ProTag requirements, and GVOSS conveyor system standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 3+ years of experience supporting conveyor systems, manufacturing operations, or industrial installations.

• Experience with company launch processes, ProTag requirements.

• Proven background in conveyor field installation, construction oversight, and contractor management in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
