About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Automation Engineer with strong experience in Siemens PLCs, TIA Portal, WinCC HMI/SCADA, Siemens drives and industrial automation systems.

You will be responsible for programming, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintaining automation and controls equipment in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate can independently diagnose issues across PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, VFDs, motors, I/O and field devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify and troubleshoot Siemens PLC programmes using TIA Portal
• Work with Siemens S7-300/400, S7-1200 and S7-1500 PLCs
• Develop and troubleshoot Siemens WinCC HMI/SCADA applications
• Configure, commission and troubleshoot Siemens VFDs and SINAMICS drives
• Diagnose PLC logic, I/O, sensor, actuator, motor and communication faults
• Configure and troubleshoot PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Industrial Ethernet and Modbus
• Support machine installation, start-up, commissioning and production troubleshooting
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, control-panel drawings and P&IDs
• Support controls upgrades, retrofits and continuous-improvement projects
• Partner with maintenance, electrical, mechanical and production teams

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial automation or controls experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal
• Experience with S7-300/400, S7-1200 and/or S7-1500
• Experience with Siemens VFDs/drives
• Experience with WinCC HMI
• Knowledge of PROFINET and PROFIBUS
• Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of PLC I/O, sensors, motors, relays, contactors and industrial control systems
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Controls, Mechatronics or a related discipline preferred

Preferred Skills

Experience with Siemens SINAMICS G120/G120C/S120/V20, servo systems, motion control, Siemens ET 200, Safety PLCs, SCADA, OPC UA, robotics, machine vision, AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position in Little Rock, Arkansas within a manufacturing/industrial environment. Candidates should be comfortable working around production equipment, electrical/control panels and industrial machinery.
